A rectangular piece of land is 4.5 km long and 2.5 km wide. Calculate the ratio of the land’s length to its perimeter.

Length= 4.5 km

Width= 2.5 km

Perimeter= 2(l+b)

               =2(4.5+2.5)

              =2*7

Perimeter= 14km

Ratio= 4.5:14

SIMPLEST FORM= 2.25:7
