Given :

A rectangular piece of land measure 7 kilometer by 5 km each side is to be fenced with 4 row of wires .

To Find :

what is the length of the wire needed

Solution:

Length of land = 7 km

Breadth of land = 5 km

Perimeter of land = 2(l+b)

Perimeter of land =2(7+5)=24 km

We are given that each side is to be fenced with 4 row of wires .

Length of wire required = 4 \times 24 = 96 km

Hence The length of wire required is 96 km
