Answer: 8.4 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of land = 0.5 km = 500m

Breadth of land = 0.3 km = 300 m

Perimeter of land = 2 (l+b)

= 2 ( 500 + 300)

= 2 x 800

= 1600 m

The land is to be fenced 3 times.

∴ total length of wire needed = 3 x perimeter of land

= 3 x 1600

8400 m

8.4 km
