Given a rectangular piece of land with dimensions length(l)=.8km and breadth= .6km

To find: the cost of fencing the land

Perimeter of the land= 2(l+b)

=2(.8+.6)

= 2× 1.4=2.8km

Wire needed to fence three rows=3×2.8= 8.4km

=8.4×1000=8400m

(1km=1000m)

Cost per metre=250Rs

Therefore cost for fencing 8400m= 8400×250=21,00,000Rs
