When the rectangular piece is rolled along its length, the length became the circumference of the base of the cylinder.
Circumference of base of the cylinder =44cm
2πr=44
2×(22/7)×r=44
r=( 44×7) / (22×2)
r=7 cm
Volume of cylinder=πr²h
=(22/7)×(7)²×16
=(22/7)×49×16
=(22/7)×784
=17248/7
=2464 cm³
