The rectangular piece of paper has length 22cm and breadth 12cm.

(ATQ)
The piece of rectangular paper is rolled along its length to form a cylinder.

▪The length of the rectangular piece of paper = circumference of circle (of cylinder).
▪And breadth of the rectangular piece of paper = height of cylinder .

Circumference = 22cm
➡2πr = 22
➡2*22/7*r = 22
➡44/7*r = 22
➡r = 22*7/44
➡r = 3.5

radius = 3.5cm

Volume  \:  \: of \:  \:  cylinder = \pi \:  {r}^{2} h \\  \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 3.5 \times 3.5 \times 12 \\  \\  = 462
Hence volume of cylinder = 462 cm cube.

Step-by-step explanation:

ATQ,

breadth of rectangular is equal to height of cylinder

length is rolled to form circumference of circle ( that means length is equal to circumference of circle)

length = Circumference of Circle

22 = 2πr

22 = 2× 22/7 × r

22 × 7 / 2×22 = r

7/2 = r

3.5 cm = r

Volume of Cylinder = πr^2h

= 22/7 × 3.5 ×3.5 × 12

= 462 cm^3
