Volume of Cylinder is 4312\ cm^3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A rectangular piece of paper with 88 cm long and 7 cm broad is rolled along its length to form a cylinder.

From above we can say that.

When it is rolled on the length of rectangular piece will become Circumference of Cylinder and width of rectangular piece will become height of cylinder.

Hence We can say;

Circumference of Cylinder = 88 cm

Height of Cylinder = 7 cm

We need to find the volume of cylinder.

we will first find the radius using circumference of cylinder.

Now Circumference of cylinder is given by 2 times π times radius 'r'.

Framing in equation form we get;

2\pi r=88\\\\r = \frac{88}{2\pi}= 14\ cm

Now Volume of cylinder can be calculated by π times square of radius 'r' times height 'h'.

framing in equation form we get;

Volume of cylinder = \frac{22}{7}\times 14\times 14\times7 = 4312\ cm^3

Hence Volume of Cylinder is 4312\ cm^3.
