A rectangular piece of wire with dimensions 9cm and 6.4cm is stretched and bent again to form a circle. What would the diameter of the circle be?

Here, the length of pipe is 9cm. So when it is bent to form a circle, the circumference of the circle is 9 cm.
circumference of circle= 2πr
9=2×22/7×r
9×7/2×22=r
so, r= 1.43
therefore, diameter= 2×1.43
=2.86 cm [approx]
