⟹ x² + 2x = 440sq.m

⟹ x² + 2x - 440

☞Solve that quadratic equation

⟶ x² + 22x - 20x - 440

⟶ x(x +22) - 22(x + 22)

⟶ (x - 22) (x + 22)

• x - 22 = 0

• x + 22 = 0
• $\bold\purple{x =-22}$

☞ As we know that the length and breadth cannot be negative so first one is the correct one
