A rectangular plot is 40 meters long and 15 meters wide. Within it a trianglular part is marked for planting plantation?

1) what is the area of the part?

2) what is the area of the trianglular part to the right of the area for plantain?

3) what is the area of the tropozium to the left of the plantain area? ​

Lets assume the length of the rectangular park be 30 meters. Now look at the above picture.

Now look at the triangles shown in the above pic.

In Rectangle 1, rectangle is divided into two triangles the area of which are same because their base and height are same being 30m and 15m.

In Rectangle 2, rectangle is divided into 3 traingle but when you see bigger triangle you will find its area same as the area of triangles shown in Rectangle 1 because the base and height of bigger triangle is same as the triangles in Rectangle 1

Same follows for Rectangle 3.

Conclusively saying the bigger triangle will have area equal to the sum of the area of the smaller triangles.

You can say that

Area of bigger triangle : 1/2 Area of rectangle

Now obtain the area of rectangle by assuming its length to be 30m

30x15 = 450

therefore area of bigger triangle = 450/2 = 225 meters
