A rectangular plot is fenced with 150m long wire. Find the dimensions of the plot if its length is twice its breadth.

LENGTH IS TWO TIMES THE BREADTH   (GIVEN)

SO, L=2B

FENCING MEANS PERIMETER  

PERIMETER = 2L + 2B

WE KNOW THAT L=2B

SO, PERIMETER = 4B + 2B

PERIMETER=6B

PERIMETER=150m

150m=6B

B=25m

L=50m
