A rectangular plot measures 300m by 200m. A builder builds three roads 10m wide along the length on either side and one in the middle. He also builds one 10 m wide road in the middle along the breadth .The remaining area is cut into residential plots and sold at the rate of ₹ 500 per m . Calculate the total revenue the builder will generate by selling all the plots

Area of three roads along the lenght=3 (L×B)

= 3(300×10)

=3×3000

=9000meter spuare

Area of road along the breadth=L×B

=200×10

=2000m^2

Area of rectangular field=L×B

=300×200

=60000m^2

Area of plot =60000-(9000+2000)

=60000-11000

=49000m

Area of square made by road along the breadth=
side×side
=10×10
=100m^2

Total area of roads=(2000+9000)+100
=11000+100
=11100m^2

Area of total plot=49000-11100
= 37900m^2

Hence, total cost of solding plots for 500 rupees =37900×500
=RS 18950000....

Answer:

# Area of rectangle plot ABCD:- l×b:- 300m×200m :- 60000m^2

# Area of 3 road along the length:- 3×300m×10m:- 9000m^2

# Area of road along to the breadth :- 200× 10m^2:- 2000m^2

# Area of 3 middle :- 3×10×10m^2

# Area of remaining plots;- 60000m^2 - (9000m^2+2000m^2) - 300m^2

:- 60000m^2+(11000-300)m^2

:-60000-70000m^2.

:-49300m^2

# cost of 1m of plot be 500rupees

# cost of 49300m plot be 500rupees×49300;- 2450000rupees
