We have,

Finding the perimeter of the plot,

➝ Perimeter = 2 × (Length + breadth)

➝ Perimeter = 2 × (500 m + 250 m)

➝ Perimeter = 2 × 750 m

➝ Perimeter of the plot = 1500 m

Now,

➝ Total length to be fenced = 3 × Perimeter

➝ Total length to be fenced = 3 × 1500 m

➝ Total length to be fenced = 4500 m

Given, ATQ

  • 1 m of fencing costs Rs. 8

Finding total cost of fencing,
