Area of 1st plot=30×2=60sq.m

Area of 2nd plot=20×2=40sq.m

Area of intersection=2×2=4sq.m

Area of passage=(60+40)-4

=100-4

=96sq.m

Answer:

184 m sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

l=20m

b=30m

area of the whole rectangular plot= l*b

                                                         =20*30=600 m^2

area of the area under the passage=> l= 20 m - (2+2)m

                                                            = 16 m

                                                            b= 30-(2+2)

                                                              =26 m

                                                    AREA= L*B

                                                               26*16

                                                              =416 m^2

AREA OF THE PASSAGE= AREA OF THE RECTANGULAR PLOT - AREA INSIDE THE PASSAGE

=(600-416)m^2

=184 M^2
