Area=Total cost/Cost per metre sq.
20000/12.50
1600
Area=1600 sq m.
area=L * B
1600 sq m.=50m*b
b=32m

Perimeter=2l+2b=100m+64m
perimeter=164m

Given :

a rectangular plot of land is 50 M long the cost of the levelling the plot at rupees12.50 per metre square is 20000

To find :

find the area of the plot ,the breadth of the plot ,the parameter of the plot

Solution:

Area leveled for Rs.12.50 = 1 sq.m.

Area leveled for Rs.20000 =\frac{20000}{12.50}=1600 sq.m.

Length of plot = 50 m

Area of Plot = Length \times Breadth = 50 \times breadth

So, 50 \times breadth = 1600

Breadth = \frac{1600}{50}

Breadth =32

Perimeter of plot =2(l+b)=2(50+32)=164 m

Hence The area of plot is 1600 sq.m., Breadth of plot is 32 m and perimeter of plot is 164 m
