Find the are of the rectangular plot:

Area = Length x Breadth

Area = 95 x 72 = 6872 m²

Find the area of the grass patch:

Length = 95 - 3.5 - 3.5 = 88 m

Breadth = 72 - 3.5 - 3.5 = 65 m

Area = Length x Breath

Area = 88 x 65 = 5720 m²

Find the area of the path:

Area of the path = 6872 - 5720 = 1152 m²

Find the cost of the path:

1 m² = Rs 46.50

1152 m² = 46.50 x 1152 = Rs 53568

Find the cost of the grass patch:

1m² = Rs 3.75

5720 m² = 3.75 x 5720 = Rs 21450

Find the total cost :

Total cost = 21450 + 53568 = Rs 75.136

Answer: The total cost is Rs 75.136

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle = 6840 square metre

area of grass patch = 5720 square metre

area of path= 1120 square metre

cost of grass patch= Rs 3.75*5720=Rs 21450

cost of path =Rs46.50*1120=RS 52080

total cost=Rs 73530
