  • Ratio of length to breadth.

 \ \boxed {\red{ \boxed{ \huge{ \textbf{ \textsf{ɢɪᴠᴇɴ ↬}}}}}}

  • length of the rectangular plot = 16 m
  • perimeter of the rectangular plot = 40 m

 \ \boxed {\red{ \boxed{ \huge{ \textbf{ \textsf{ᴀɴsᴡᴇʀ ↬}}}}}}

We know that,

 \sf \: Perimeter  \: of  \: rectangle = 2(l + b) \\  \sf \: 40 \: m = 2(16 + b) \\  \sf \:  \frac{40}{2}  = 16 + b \\  \\  \sf  \implies\: 20 = 16 + b \\  \sf  \implies\: 20 - 16 = b \\   \boxed{\sf \therefore \: b = 4}

so,

Ratio of length to breadth = Length/breadth

 \implies \sf \:  \frac{ \cancel{16}  \: ^{4} }{ \cancel{4}  \: ^{1} }  \\  \\  \sf \implies \:  \frac{4}{1}  =   \:  \:  \:  \: \boxed {\sf {\red{4 : 1 \:  \:  \: ans....}}}
