Volume of the prism= area of base×height

=>3200 mm³=(length×breadth)×height

Height =40 mm

Given:

The volume of a rectangular prism = 3200 mm³

The length of the base of rectangular prism = 10mm

The width of the base of rectangular prism = 8mm

To find:

The height of the prism

Solution:

The volume of rectangular prism = Area of the base x Height

                                                       = Length x Width x Height

                                    3200 mm³ = 10mm x 8mm x h

                                                3200/80 = h

                                                     h = 40mm

Hence, the height of the prism is 40mm.
