A rectangular roof is 28 metres long and 12 metres wide. What volume of water will fall on the swimming pool if we receive 20mm water of rain?

given :-

length of the rectangular roof = 28m

breadth of the rectangular roof = 12m

we have to find the volume of water if it received 20mm of water.

so first of all, we have to convert 20mm in meters.

20mm = 2cm = 0.02m (height)

therefore volume of the water fell in the roof = l × b × h

= 28 × 12 × 0.02

= 6.72m³

hence, the volume of water fell in the roof is 6.72m³
