a rectangular room is 10 M long and 7.5 M wide find the cost of covering the floor with carpet 1.25 m wide at 250 rupees per metre

Length of the room = 10m

Breadth of the room= 7.5m


Area of the room = lxb = 10 x 7.5 = 75m²


Now, 75 / 1.25 = 60m² area covered by carpet width


And... cost of one m² = 250

∴ cost of 60 m² = 250 x 60

                     =  Rs 1500 ANS
