Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

h = 2.4 m

l = 4 m

b = 9 m

(i) Total walk area of room  = total area of base

     Total area of base =

= l x b

= 4 x 9

= 36 m^{2}

(ii) walls to be covered = 4 (excluding the roof )( its obvious y roof ??)

   area covered by 1 roll = 6 m^{2}

   area of one wall =  2(h x l) +2(b x l)

   = 2( 2.4 x 4 )+ 2( 9 x 4 )

   = 2(9.6) + 2(36)

   =  19.2 +  72

   =  91.2 m^{2}

  area covered by one window = 9 m^{2}

  total area of wallpaper required will be = 91.2 - 9

                                                                    = 82.2

therefore : no of rolls of wallpaper required will be :

=   \frac{82.2}{6}

=  13.7

approximately 14 rolls
