Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of  rectangular room = length x breadth

=  6 m x 5 m

= 30 m^2

Carpeted  Area = 30 x ( 2 / 3 )

= 60/3

=20 m^2

∴ Area of  rectangular room  carpeted = 20 sq.m

Solution:-

Given:-

Dimensions of Rectangular Room = (6 × 5)m

To Find:-

Area of Floor carpeted, if 2/3 of the Floor of the Room is Carpeted.

Find:-

Area of Rectangular Room = length × Breath

=) Area = ( 6 × 5)m

=) Area = 30 m²

Now,

Area of Floor Carpeted = 30 × 2/3

=) Area of Carpeted = 60/3

=) Area of Carpeted = 20 m².

Hence,

20m² of the Area of the Rectangular Room is to be Carpeted.
