a rectangular room is 8 cm long and 6 cm broad .find the area of the carpet required to cover its floor .if 1m² carpet costs RS 50, find the cost of carpeting the floor.

Area of rectangle = L×B
= 8×6
= 48 cm2
48×50=2400 Rs.
