A rectangular room is 9 metre long and 6 metre wide. find the cost of covering the floor with carpet 2 metre wide at ₹35 per metre​

breadth of room = 7.5m

Area of floor =10×7.5=75m2

width of carpet = 1.25m

Now, Area of floor = Area of carpet 

10×7.5=1.25× length of carpet

Cost per meter = 250Rs 

Total cost = Length of carpet × cost per meter 

=60×250

=Rs 15000
