Hey mate here is your answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

SOLUTION :

The length and breadth of a rectangular acrylic sheet = 34 cm and 24 cm:

So,

We know that,

Area of rectangle = lb unit sq.

[ In which l is the length and b is the breadth of the rectangle ]

So,

Area of the rectangular acrylic sheet = 34 × 24

                                                            = 816 cm sq.

According to the question,

From the rectangular sheet 64 circular buttons having diameter 3.5 cm each were cut

Radius of each circular button = 3.5 ÷ 2     [ as radius = diameter ÷ 2 ]

                                                  = 1.75 cm

Now,

Area of the circular buttons =  cm sq.

                                             = 22/7 × 1.75 × 1.75

                                             = 9.625 cm sq.

Now,

Area of 64 such circular buttons = 9.625 × 64 = 616 cm sq.

Now,

The area left after cutting 64 circular buttons from the rectangular sheet,

= Area of the rectangular sheet - Area of the 64 circular buttons,

= 816 - 616,

= 200 cm sq.

Hence,

The remaining area is 200 cm sq.

Hope it helps.✔✔✔
