Heya

Here goes your answer

Area of the rectangular sheet = length×breadth

= 34×24

= 816cm²

Area of each button = πr²

= 22/7 × 3.5/2 × 3.5/2

= 9.625cm²

Area of 64 buttons = 64×9.625 = 616cm²

Area of the remaining sheet = area of the sheet - area of 64 buttons

= 816 - 616

= 200cm²

Hope it helps!

Given:

The dimensions of the rectangular sheet of arcylic = 34cm × 24 cm

The number of circular buttons cut out from the sheet = 64

The diameter of the circular buttons = 3.5 cm

To find:

The area of the remaining sheet.

Solution:

We know that the area of the rectangular sheet = length×breadth

On substituting the values, we get:

= 34×24

= 816 cm²

Now, let us find the area of a single circular button.

Area of each button = πr²

= 22/7 × (3.5/2)²

= 9.625 cm²

Area of all 64 buttons = 64×9.625 = 616cm²

Thus, the area of the remaining sheet will be = area of the sheet - area of 64 buttons

= 816 - 616 cm²

= 200 cm²

Thus, the area of the remaining sheet will be 200 cm².
