Length of rectangular sheet = Height of cylindrical sheet h
So, Height of cylindrical sheet =44cm

According to question=>
Area of rectangular sheet = Lateral surface area of cylindrical sheet
So, l*b = 2*pi*r*h
44 *22 = 2 * 3.14 * r* 44
968 = 276.32* r
r = 968/276.32
r = 3.50
So, T. S. A. of cylindrical sheet = 2*pi*r(r+h)
=2*3.14*3.50(3.50+44)
= 21.98*47.5
= 1044.05 cm^2

Answer:

3388 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the radius of the cylinder is not known, we have to use the perimeter of the circle to find it. We will take the perimeter as 44 cm.

P of a circle= 2πr

2×22/7×r = 44

r= 44×7/44

∴ r= 7cm

Now that we've found the radius of the cylinder, we can now find the volume.

V of a cylinder= πr²h

22/7 × 49 × 22= 3388 cm³

Hence, the volume of the cylinder is 3388 cm³.

Hope this helps
