33 = 2 × 22/7 × r

33× 7/ 2 × 22= r

21/4 = r

Solution:

The formula for the circumference of the cylinder is given as,

circumference of the cylinder = 2πr → {equation 1}

Where "r" is the radius of the cylinder in equation 1.

When a cylinder is rolled along with its breadth, then the breadth of the cylinder will be equal to the height of the cylinder and the length becomes the circumference of the cylinder.

∴ The circumference of the cylinder = 33 cm

Then equation 1 becomes,

⇒ radius = \frac{circumference}{2*pi} = 33/2*(22/7)

(rearranging the terms of the above equation  to get the value of "r")

⇒ r = 231/44 ( multiplying all the values)

⇒ r =  = 5.25 cm

∴ The radius of the cylinder = 5.25 cm.
