if a rectangular sheet is folded along its length into a cylinder then it's length will be circumference base of cylinder.
2 πr = 44cm
2 ×22 / 7 ×r = 44cm
r = 7cm
h = 20cm

volume of cylinder = π R^2h
= 22 / 7 ×7 ×7 ×20 cubic cm
=3,080 cubic cm

curved surface area of cylinder =2 πrh
= 2 ×22 / 7 ×7 ×20 square cm
= 880 square cm

Thank you for asking this question. Here is your answer:

We know that the length of the rectangular sheet L = 44 cm

and the breadth of the rectangular sheet B =20 cm

The radius r of the cylinder=circumference of the base of cylinder

=

44=2x22/7r

44x7/44

r=7

and the height h of the cylinder =20cm

volume of cylinder will be π²h

V=22/7x7x7x20

V=22x7x20

V=3080cm³
