perimeter of rectangle = 2(l +b)      where l = length
                                                                   b = breadth
given,
l = 12 1/2 , b = 15 3/4
perimeter = 2( 12 1/2 + 15 3/4)
               = 2( 25 / 2 + 63 / 4)
               = 2(50 + 63)/ 4
               = 2( 113/ 4)
               = 113/2
               = 56.5 cm

First of all convert the whole fraction into improper fraction............................ Length = 15 3/4 = 63/4 cm .................. Breadth = 12 1/2 = 25/2 cm................. Perimeter = 2(l+b) =2( 63/4+25/2).... =2( 63+50/4)= 2(113/4) cm.= 113/2...... So perimeter = 113/2 cm..... Since dimensions were in fraction so u can leave perimeter in fraction ..
