length of the rectangular sheet = l= 44cm
breadth = b= 18cm
if it is rolled along its length then
cylinder so formed whose dimensions are
let radius of the cylinder = r cm
base perimeter = l
2πr = 44cm
2*22/7*r=44cm
r = (44*7)/(2*22)cm=7
height of the cylinder = h= b
h=18cm
∴volume of the cylinder =V= πr²h
= 22/7*7*7*18
=22*7*18
=2772cm³

length of the sheet = circumference of cylinder base

2*pi*r=44cm

2*22/7*r=44

r=(44*7)/(2*22)

r=7cm

therefore

cylinder radius=r=7cm

height of the cylinder=breadth of the rectangle

h=18cm

volume of the cylinder =pi*r^2*h

=22/7*7*7*18

=22*7*18

=2772cm^3
