Perimeter of a rectangle = 2( l + b )
perimeter = 2( 5 2/3 + 3 1/5 ) , convert them into improper fractions.
5 2/3 = 17/3 , 3 1/5 = 16/5
17/3 and 16/5.....convert into like fractions = 3 x 5 = 15
17/3 x 5/5 = 85/15
16/5 x 3/3 = 48/15 .....now add them and multiply with 2.
= 48 + 85 = 133/15 x 2 = 17.73, therefore, the area of the paper is 17.73.
