A rectangular sheet of paper is folded about its width 15cm.if the length of the sheet is 22cm,find the volume of the cylinder.
Hint:it is a hollow cylinder as it has no top and bottom base.

As mentioned in question that sheet is folded along width wise therfore height of cylinder is 15cm and circumference= 22cm
$circuference = 2\pi \: r$
15cm = 22/7× 2 × r
15×7/22×2= radius
2.4cm= r
$volume \: of \: \: cylinder = \pi {r}^{2} h$
V= 22/7 × 2.4cm× 2.4 cm× 22cm
= 398.2cm^3
