So, height of formed cylinder = Length of rectangular sheet = 14 cm

Circumference of base of cylinder = Breadth = 44 cm

Circumference of circle = 2\pi r

So, 2\times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 44

 r = \frac{44\times 7}{2\times22}

 r = 7

Radius of cylinder is 7 cm

Height = 14 cm

Total surface area of cylinder = 2\pi r (h+r)

                                                 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 (14+7)                                                

                                                 = 924 cm^2                      

Hence the total surface area of cylinder formed is  924 cm^2
