Answer : 1) Area of Rectangular field = 4200m

2) perimeter of Rectangular field = 284m

Step-by-step explanation:

In a rectangle ABCD,

AB & DC ( length ) = 100m --- (given)

AD & BC ( width ) = 42m -----( given )

Area of Rectangle = length × width

∴ = 100 × 42 ( substituting the given value )

∴ Area of Rectangle = 4200m

Also ,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( Length + width )

∴ = 2 ( 100 + 42 )

∴ = 2 ( 142 )

∴ Perimeter of Rectangle = 284m
