Answer:

ANSWER

Length of swimming pool l=30m

Breadth of swimming pool b=20m

Height of swimming pool h=10m

The total surface area of pool= Lateral surface area + Area of base

=2h(l+b)+(l×b)

=2×10(30+20)+(30×20)

=1220

Side of square tile a=32cm=0.32

Area of 1 tile =a×a=0.32*0.20=0.064

Number of tiles =

area of tile

area of pool

Number of tiles =19,063

Therefore 19063 tiles are required

→Length of swimming pool (l) =30m

→Breadth of swimming pool (b) =20m

→Height of swimming pool (h)=10m

The total surface area of pool= Lateral surface area + Area of base

=2h(l+b)+(l×b)

=2×10(30+20)+(30×20)

=20(50)+(600)

=1000m³+600m³

=1600m³

Length of a tile(L2)=32cm=0.32m

Breath of a tile(B2)=20cm=0.2m

Area of one tile:-L2×B2

=0.32×0.2

=0.064m²

No. of tiles Required(n) = TSA of pool ÷ Area of one tile

=1600m³÷0.064m²

\boxed{n = 25000}

Cost for one tile=0.40₹

Cost for 25,000 tiles=0.40×25,000

\boxed{10000 \: }
