A Rectangular swimming pool has a row of water foundation along each of its longer sides. The two row of foundations are 20 metre apart. Each foundation sprays an identical parabolic - shape stream of water a total horizontal distance of 16 m toward the opposite side. looking from one end of the pool the stream of water from the two sides cross each other in the middle off the pool at a height of 2 m.
Suppose water is sprayed from (5m. 0m) and falls on (21m. 0m) when water is sprayed from (9m.0m) then falls on (25m. 0m ) and intersects at (15m. 2m)
( a ) determine an equation that represent a stream of water from the left side and another equation the represents a stream of water from the right side graph equation on the same set of the axis.
(b ) determine the maximum height of water.
