Answer:

first we calculate the are of the swimming pool:

L=45m

B=20m

Area= LxB

=45x20

=900 sq.m

Now we calculate the area of the concrete path around the path. The new dimensions include the width 3.5m on both sides. Therefore,

L= 45+3.5+3.5= 52m

W= 20+3.5+3.5= 27m

Area= LxB

=52x27

=1404 sq.m

Area of the path only= 1404-900

= 504 sq.m

Now the cost

Cost per sq.m= 25 rs

total cost= 25x504

=12600 rs.

Step-by-step explanation:

length is equals to 4o m

breadth is equals to 20 m

area of rectangle is = to length*breadth

45x20 =900

now.

L=45+3.5+3.5=52m

B=20+3.5+3.5=27m

A-lxb

=52*27

1404sq m.

A of the path only

1404-900=504sq m

now the cost =25rs

total cost =25x504=12600rs
