A rectangular tank 30 cm x 20 cm x 12 cm
contains water to a depth of 6 cm
metal cube of side 10 cm is placed in the
tank with its one face resting on the bottom
of the tank. Find the volume of water in
litres, that must be poured in the tank so
that the metal cube is just submerged in the
water.​

4.8= 300x/1000

4800= 300x

4800/300=x

x = 16 cm

height = 16 cm

total surface area = 2(20*15+15*16+16*20)

T.S.A =2(300*240*320)

T.S.A = 2(860)

T.S.A= 1720
