A rectangular tank 5 metre long 4 metre wide and 2 m deep contain water to a depth of 1.5 metre. the water in his run off into an empty time that is 4 metre long and 3 metre wide what will be the depth of of water in a second tank

Volume of 1st tank=(5×4×1.5)m^3=30m^3

Since,Volume of 1st tank=volume of 2nd tank

Therefore,Volume of second tank=30m^3

i.e.4×3×d=30

d=30/4×3=2.5mans
