4 metre is equal to 400 CM
3 metre is equal to 300 CM
1.5 m is equal to 150 cm
now volume of the rectangular tank is =

length into breadth into height
equal to 400 into 300 into 150 =18000000 cm^3

the height of the water level is 0.6 M
=60centimetre
now volume of the water level =400×300×60 cm^3
=7200000 cm^3
so volume of the tank where is not water
=18000000-7200000 cm^3
=10800000 cm^3
now volume of the stone =15 into 10 into 8 cm^3
=1200 cm^3
now number of the stone drop to take the water to the top of the tank
=10800000÷1200
=9000
