A rectangular tank of length 10 m , breadth 5 m, and depth 6 m is full of water. How much water must e taken out of the tank to reduce the level of water in the tank by one metre?

Volume of water of tank = length × breadth × height

                                        = 10 × 5 × 6

                                        = 300 m³

Volume of water when height is 5 m = length × breadth × height

                                                             = 10 × 5 × 5

                                                             = 250 m³

Thus, Volume of water taken out = 300 - 250  = 50 m³

Therefore, Amount of water that taken out is 50 m³.
