Since the amount of paint required is same ,  hence the area must be same.

Area of rectangle = Area of square

------------------------------------------------------

  • Area of rectangle = l*b

                                      =36*25

                                      = 900m²

  • Area of square = s*s          

------------------------------------------------------

Since areas are same :-

                 s² = 900m²      

                 s  = 30m

--------------------------------------------------------

Hence ,  the length of side of square = 30m
