A rectangular water tank is 3 m long 2 m wide and 4 m high. It contains 2.7m³ of water. How many more m³ of water must be poured into the tank to make it half full? ​

Length = l = 3m

Breadth = b = 2m

Height = h = 5m

Volume of the tank = lbh

                               = 3 × 2 × 5

                              = 30m³

∴The volume of the recatangular tank is 30m³

CAPACITY:

1m³ = 1000L

∴ 30m³ = 1000 × 30

            = 30000L
