Answer:

A)3.125 N/msquare. B)6.25N/m^2

Explanation:

mass=4kg

g=10m/s

we know that ,

F=m×a

F=4×10

F=40N

A)area of first rectangle =25×50=1250sqcm

but it is in cm

in metre it is 125m

pressure =force/area

=40/125

=3.125N/m^2

B)@of second rectangle =25×10

=250

pressure =40/250

=6.25N/m^2

Answer:

1) 320 pa

2) 1600 pa

Explanation:

1) Mass = 4kg

Force= ma 4× 10 =40

Area = 0.5 m ×0.25m = 0.125 m^2

pressure = force / area

40/0.125= 320 pa

2) force =40 N

Area = 0.25 m × 0.1m

Area = 0.025 m^2

Pressure = force/ area

40/0.025

1600 pa
