Answer:

Rs 3.75 per kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the original price be Rs 'a' per kg of sugar.

let she buys n kg of sugar for Rs a per kg. Total cost would be Rs n*a = Rs na

For Rs 120: na = 120

When the price is reduced by 20%, new price is a - 20% of a = 0.8a

Now, for Rs 120:  she can buy n + 8 kg of sugar.

⇒ (n + 8)(0.8a) = 120

⇒ (n + 8)a = 120/0.8

⇒ na + 8a = 150

⇒ 8a = 150 - 120  ⇒ a = 30/8

⇒ a = 3.75
