Answer:

Let cost of 1 Kg sugar be x rupees initially

So new rate is x-0.2x = 0.8x rupees

So for 130 rupees Kg of sugar initially purchased is (130/x) Kg and finally purchased is (130/0.8x)

Given Difference in weight is 5.2 kg

So (130/0.8x)- (130/x) = 5.2

thus (130/4x) = 5.2

Hence x = 130/20.8

= 6.25 rupees/Kg
