A refrigerator is rated to operate at 200 V. What is likely to happen if only 50 volt is applied across it ? Give reason for your answer.

If only 50 volt electricity is applied across the refrigerator, then the refrigerator will not even start working.

• Now,if we apply less or more amount of electricity than the required amount of electricity then the refrigerator will not work anymore.
