Total number of coin required =  8441

Given:

A regular hexagonal shape is made by using equal  size of coins such that each side has equal number  of coins adjacent to each other.

Regular hexagon having 57 coins along each side of the hexagon.

To find:

The total number of coins required to  make a figure of regular hexagon.

Formula used:

Area of hexagon = \frac{3\sqrt{3} }{2} (Side of hexagon)²

Explanation:

Its a simple question because instead of meter or centimeter the length is giving in no of coins and asking total number of coins that is area of hexagon.

So area of hexagon = \frac{3\sqrt{3} }{2} (Side of hexagon)²

     area of hexagon = \frac{3\sqrt{3} }{2} (57)²

    area of hexagon = 8441.5

So that total number of coin required =  8441
