these days there is a lot of difference between girls and boys . girls are given less importance compared to boys . they are believed to be unlucky for families as they are just to be given to boys of other families and have to pay dowry . most people believe that they are to be used just as servants and can beat them up when ever they want . due to this the mentality of people is changing and they are beating girls or killing them for fun sake . they are believed to be like an object or a showpiece to be used for men . even with change in  generation people do not give importance to girl child and believe them as bad luck
